Ben Nevis

My dad used to tell me I should climb the Munros. All 282 of them. Well, that was not going to happen. Graham and I settled with the highest, Ben Nevis, aka The Ben (he climbed the much tougher route years ago). The hike up Ben Nevis includes roughly 4500 feet of elevation gain in a ten mile round trip. The ascent was beautiful and gradual and not too tough, but my knees screamed in protest on the way down. There are a lot of stone steps. Apparently an average of 150k people climb this mountain every year. We picked a sunny day and as you can see, the scenery was stunning. I was happy I carried my Nikon D850 up there and took loads of panoramas.
